Urban Architecture offers the following services to ensure your satisfaction with your building project:

Architecture and Interior Design
Urban Architecture was founded as a collaborative effort to provide practical, functional, sustainable, and beautiful design solutions. We enjoy challenging commercial and residential design opportunities in both new construction and renovations. Taking into consideration how the space will function as well as adhering to budgetary concerns, we design built environments to fit your unique needs. We work with your general contractor throughout the design process to prevent any surprises during the construction phase of your project.

Class A Tenant Build-Outs
We understand that unleased space in your commercial building is revenue lost. Our typical 2-3 day turn around time for space planning services is offered at a price that is competitive with current market rates. Our long standing successful relationship with many local mechanical and electrical engineers allows us to communicate effectively and get permitable construction documents completed and in your hands promptly.

Aging In Place
Aging In Place is more than simply designing a house with wider doorways or grab bars in the bathroom. Planning the built environment to respond to our needs as we age allows us to remain agile, mobile, and comfortable in our homes in a time where the vast majority of our elder population moves toward nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Urban Architecture believes that allowing you, our client, to retain your independence as you grow older not only adds to the quality of your life, but allows your community to stay intact, with the wisdom and experience of several generations in one place. Taking into consideration the subtle (and not-so-subtle) changes to our aging bodies and minds, we design for the whole human being. Our designs go beyond simply complying with the concepts behind Barrier Free design and consider the needs of each individual client. We encourage the involvement of medical professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, on our design team.

What you might not realize is that many of the advancements in design and technology that were originally intended for the elder population can make life easier for people of all ages and abilities. These same design concepts can also be used to renovate a house or office for those who have young children or who have restrictions with mobility due to an accident or medical condition or procedure.

No Work Affidavit
When purchasing a property that will require renovation or new construction, lenders often require that a No Work Affidavit be issued. This document is issued before the Act of Sale to ensure that no construction work has started that would impact your relationship with your lender. Each affidavit is dated and certified by a licensed architect.
